This Arts and Crafts renovation is distinguished by its use of natural wood, stones & lighting, creating a warm & inviting environment for everyday living & entertaining. A wonderful all-season enclosed front porch leads to an open & flexible first floor highlighted by upholstered built-in seating, elaborate & intricate moulding, bookshelves, and a fabulous period fireplace. Originally designed in 1887 by Emil Fromann for a prominent Cigar dealer. Fromann and Jebsen designed the Humboldt Park Receptory and Stables and many Schlitz Brewery tied houses including the famed Shuba’s tavern.
